Turkish Pide-Amazingly Delicious And Easy Homemade Turkish Pide Recipe

Turkish Pide or simply Turkish Pizza is one of the most favorite Turkish snacks. It is a thick flatbread filled with minced meat and vegetables and often served in slices. People use different toppings according to their tastes. Some favorite toppings include minced meat, spinach with cheddar cheese, and sausages. Some people spread an egg over the pide toward the end of baking.

Making Turkish Pide at home is not as difficult as you might think. I am sharing with you my proven techniques of making this amazingly delicious and easy Turkish Pide recipe to try at home.
Ingredients
Flour                                      4 cup     
Egg                                         1
Milk                                        1/2 cup
Yeast                                     1 tbs
Salt                                        1 Tbs

Yogurt                                    3 tbs
Water                                     As required
Ingredients  for filling       
Minced beef                           700 g
Ginger garlic paste                2 tbsp
Cumin powder                       1 tbsp
Black pepper powder            1 tbsp
Crushed red chili                    2 tbsp
Oil                                             3 tbsp
Sliced onion                            1
Tomatoes                                4
Coriander leaves                    1/2 cup
Capsicum cut into cubes      1/2 cup
Salt to taste
METHOD

Making mixture for the dough: Add flour, egg, milk, yeast, yogurt, salt, and oil in a bowl and mix well with lukewarm water. Keep this mixture in a warm place for 1-2 hours.
Cooking the minced beef: Take a cooking pan and heat the oil. when the oil becomes hot add minced beef and cook until the water evaporates.
Add garlic ginger paste, cumin powder, black pepper powder, crushed red chili, and cook until minced beef dries out.
Kneading the dough and filling: Put cooked minced beef, onion, capsicum, tomatoes, and coriander in a bowl and mix well.
Knead the dough and divided it into 6 equal parts and roll it in an oval shape.
Add minced beef mixture and sprinkle onions.
Bake for 15 to 20 minutes on 180 c.
Note: If you want to add some mozzarella cheese before the last 5 minutes of baking, take out the baking dish and sprinkle cheese.
