Namkeen Gosht Recipe - A Delicious And Light Namkeen Gosht

Namkeen gosht (beef/mutton cooked in salt without using red chili) is a much appreciated Pakistani

dish. It is light due to the absence of garam masala. It is very delicious and is considered as a specialty. If you are a meat lover then you must try this easy to make namkeen gosht recipe and share your experience.
Ingredients
Mutton                     1 Kg
Green chilies           6 to 9
Black pepper           1 tbsp
Lemon juice             Half cup
Oil                             Two cups
Water                       Two cup
Garlic paste            1 and half tbsp
Ginger                      1" piece cut into                                  julienne



METHOD
1 . Put the mutton in a pan and add two cups oil and 3 cups of water , 1 tbsp salt and 1 tbsp garlic paste.
2 . Cook the mutton on medium flame until it becomes tender and the liquid evaporates.
3 . Add green chilies and cook the mixture till the mutton and green chilies become brown.
4 . Remove extra oil and add  ginger and lemon juice and cook for 2 minutes .
