- Chicken 500g
- Capsicums 6
- Tomatoes 3
- Yogurt 5 tbsp
- Onions 2 medium size
- Ginger, garlic paste 2 tbsp
- Turmeric powder 1 tbsp
- Red chili powder 1 tbsp
- Cumin seeds 1tbsp
- Cinnamon stick 1
- Green chilies 4
- Oil as required
- Salt to taste
Method
- Heat the oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds and cinnamon stick. Salt fry for 6 seconds.
- Add the sliced onions. Fry the onions until golden brown, then add chicken and fry.
- Add ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric powder and fry the chicken for 10 minutes.
- Add yogurt and cover the pan on slow flame. When the water is evaporated and the chicken becomes tender, add capsicums and fry the mixture for 3 minutes.
- Add half cup water and cover the pan on high flame. Cook until the water is evaporated.
Garnish with green chilies and serve.
